Houston native, Teresa Munisteri spent her youth running around Europe and most recently landed in a small town in southeastern Utah. Munisteri works as an artist, freelance photographer, educator, and installation specialist. She holds an M.F.A. in photography from the University of North Texas and a B.A. cum laude from Rice University. Her passion for photography is only rivaled by her commitment to environmental stewardship (and her love for her dog). Landscape, performance and the female figure play important roles in her work, which encompasses photography and video. Munisteri's work has been exhibited at RayKo Gallery San Francisco, PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, Oak Cliff Cultural Center in Dallas, and the LensCapsule in conjunction with FotoFest. Her photographs are included in permanent and private collections in the United States, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
