Teresa Munisteri is a lens-based artist currently living and working in Houston, Texas. She received an M.F.A. in photography from the University of North Texas in 2012 and a B.A. with honors from Rice University in 2006. Landscape, performance and the figure play important roles in her work, which encompasses photography and video. Over the past year, Munisteri's work was featured in exhibitions at RayKo Gallery San Francisco, PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, and the LensCapsule in conjunction with FotoFest. Her photographs are included in permanent and private collections in the United States, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
